March 27

Sgt. Williams, Cpl. Burdick, Deputy Whisenhunt, warrant service, Private Road 6644. Percy Raspberry arrested for outstanding warrant.

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Williams, Trooper Hefner, warrant service, FM 2966; deputies spoke with subject inside camper, advised he would not come out, eventually came out. Joey Grant arrested for outstanding warrant.

Deputy Pollard, criminal trespass, FM 515; neighbor going through scrap pile taking items, neighbor criminally trespassed from residence.

March 28

Deputy Cato, unauthorized use of motor vehicle, CR 2130; victim previously spoke with deputies about daughter taking vehicle, not returning it, deputies contacted suspect who advised she would return it but has not yet, vehicle entered as stolen.

Deputy Williams, burglary; caller stated someone stole items from vehicle, provided possible suspect after she saw her items in his vehicle, offense report completed.

Sgt. Cox, identity theft; victim advised female used Social Security number to open account at Wood County Electric, victim knew suspect, had previous issues with her, offense report completed.

Deputy Comeaux, illegal dumping, CR 1476; someone threw bags of trash into creek near caller’s residence, deputy recovered several bags, precinct crew to remove bags underwater.

March 29

Deputy Way, intoxicated pedestrian, FM 49; located intoxicated female who advised she was kicked out of vehicle when she and boyfriend began arguing, deputy gave subject courtesy ride to residence.

Cpl. Smith, Deputy Comeaux, assault, Quitman ER. Two subjects came in with lacerations, advised they were in a dispute. Brandy Harris arrested for aggravated assault with deadly weapon.

Deputy Way, Deputy Haley, deadly conduct, FM 17; victim got into disturbance with neighbor due to him being parked in his parking space, victim provided video footage of suspect pulling gun, pointing it at him. Sean Earle arrested for deadly conduct.

March 30

Cpl. Rapp, damaged property, CR 2689; caller advised neighbor shot BB through window again, did not wish to pursue charges.

Sgt. Cox, Deputy Comeaux, agency assist, Hwy. 37. Mineola PD advised two subjects stole items from Walmart, headed north on Hwy. 37, deputies stopped vehicle. Mineola PD placed subjects in custody, retrieved the stolen items.

Deputy Way, damaged property on FM 49. The victim advised her cousin came into her residence and threw stuff all over the house and in her vehicle. The victim wished to pursue charges and an offense report was completed. 

March 31

Deputy Skinner, disturbance, Hwy. 154 in Yantis; one subject found to have active warrant. Chance Davis arrested for outstanding warrant. 

Deputy Skinner, disabled vehicle, CR 3282; driver advised vehicle had flat tire, spare not usable, driver was en route to ER, deputy provided transport for driver and passenger.

Deputy Comeaux, damaged property, Holiday Village; victim advised neighbor damaged fence when she backed boat into it, neighbor’s husband arrived, stated he would cover cost of repairs, victim did not wish to pursue charges.

Cpl. Smith, criminal trespass, CR 1941; victim provided video footage of suspect on property while having active trespass warning, deputy located suspect who admitted being on property, knowing she wasn’t allowed. Roxana Nunez arrested for criminal trespass.

April 1 

Cpl. Croney, theft, CR 4579; victim advised large amount of fencing supplies taken, neighbor admitted to taking items, property returned, victim did not wish to pursue charges. 

Sgt. Williams, Deputy Cato, burglary, CR 3543; property owner advised items stolen from residence, along with copper, case forwarded to investigations.

Sgt. Morrison, Cpl. Burdick, disturbance, CR 3494; victim’s son having hallucinations, caused him to push her, subject transported to receive medical treatment.

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Rich, terroristic threat, CR 2460; caller trying to repossess camper, owner threatened to shoot him, RV owner thought someone was trying to steal camper, owner will be evicted before repo.

April 2

Deputy Whisenhunt, Deputy Cato, stolen vehicle, Mineola PD; purchased motorcycle from wrecking yard, discovered it was reported stolen, which deputies confirmed, motorcycle towed until original owner can retrieve it.

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Wiliams, warrant service, FM 778; deputies observed front door open and close, deputies got subject to come outside who advised wanted person was not at residence, subject identified himself as Cory Waits, who had active warrant and arrested.

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Williams, runaway; caller’s son fleeing to another state after going through break up, deputies contacted subject who advised he left in his mother’s car, wanted to get away, deputies got subject to return, determined he was not a danger to himself, advised of options to get help.
