From tiny rural church, food pantry meets growing needs for area families
There is not much question some people in Wood County face food challenges.
In the region served by the East Texas Food Bank, the estimate is one in five families.

Quitman Pilot Club hosting free memory care event
The Pilot Club of Quitman is hosting a free Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care Conference at the First United Methodist Church of Quitman at 406 Lane St. (use parking/entrance on Goldsmith), on Saturday, Feb. 26 from 9 a.m. until noon.
