Alba-Golden pair commit to play for Dallas College
Two Alba-Golden seniors will continue their volleyball careers as Thunderducks.
Alyssa Murdock and Lainey Teel signed letters of intent to attend Dallas College and play for the Richland Thunderducks.
A signing ceremony was held at the school Dec. 19.
Teel, an outside hitter, was the district most valuable player while Murdock was the distirct’s libero of the year.

Lady Panthers open district hoops play with a victory
The Alba-Golden Lady Panthers used a strong second half to win their district opener last week against Cayuga, 45-27.
They will be in the Boles Tiournament Dec. 26-28 and resume district play on Dec. 31 hosting Martins Mill, with games starting at 11 a.m.
