Bicyclist dies in traffic crash
A cyclist from Dallas was killed in a traffic crash south of Winnsboro Wednesday evening, Feb. 9.
According to the Dept. of Public Safety report, Kimberly M. Dewitt, 29 was southbound on FM 312 at 7:11 p.m. about 2.2 miles south of Winnsboro. more

Tax abatement guidelines on hold again

Alba council OKs easement for coffee shop
Alba City Council approved an easement last week for The Mining Post, a new coffee shop on the downtown square.
