Area power lifters qualify for regional competition

With the regional power lifting meet on the horizon, lifters from Mineola, Quitman, Lone Oak and Rains met last Friday at Quitman for a quad-school competition. 

The meet gave local lifters an opportunity to better their standings within the ranks in the hopes of obtaining a berth to lift at the regional meet. In power lifting, the top 12 rankings lift at regionals. more
