Chamber welcomes banquet title sponsor

Don Roberts Abstract & Title is the title sponsor for the 2022 Mineola Chamber Awards Banquet April 21 at the Mineola Civic Center. The theme is “Diamonds in the Pines.”

The banquet, canceled the past two years due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols, shines a community spotlight on businesses and organizations that make Mineola and Wood County special and vibrant.

“We’re extremely grateful for our members’ support and for our title sponsor in particular,” said Mary Boone, chamber president. “For many years Don Roberts has been an integral part of our community and dedicated to our mission to help enable commerce and facilitate a thriving business environment.

“This is a chance to come together and recognize individuals and businesses in our community while also hosting a fundraiser to continue the chamber’s efforts.”

Doors open at 6 p.m. Tables seating eight can be purchased for $320. Individual tickets can be purchased for $45.

The highlight of the many raffle and auction items is a $50 per ticket raffle to win a beautiful diamond necklace. There also will be numerous silent auction items featuring more diamond jewelry, a Dallas Cowboys football autographed by Ezekiel Elliott and much, much more.

Community awards will be given by the chamber and other local organizations.

Opportunities for Gateway Sponsor, Ponderosa Sponsor and Loblolly Sponsor are still available. Each includes table seating and publicity recognition. If interested in a sponsorship, contact the chamber to secure the spot and be included in all marketing materials.

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
