Club honors florist
Cheryl Wood of Cheryl’s Lake Country Florist (right) spoke to the Mineola Kiwanis about her experience in Uvalde. After the school shooting there, Cheryl felt compelled to travel to Uvalde to help the florist there with flower arrangements sent from all over the world. She returned to help again as the funerals began. Cheryl was awarded the Mineola Kiwanis Citizen of the Month for November. The award was presented by club secretary, Joyce Curry.
