A man reported exposing himself at a local gym and acting suspiciously at two other Mineola businesses on Sept. 14 was arrested on a warrant for indecent exposure Sept. 16 in Wood County and subsequently on Sept. 19 in Smith County.

Jonathan William Ledbetter, 31, of Winnsboro was taken into custody on a warrant by the Wood County Sheriff’s Dept. on Friday, Sept. 16 following the incidents in Mineola on the 14th. He was released that day on a $5,000 bond.

Smith County Adult Probation Dept. arrested him on the 19th, where he had been serving 18 months probation. He remained jailed on Tuesday.

He had two prior arrests for indecent exposure in Smith County in 2019 and 2021, the latter which resulted in the probated sentence.
