Wood County commissioner approved the order for the Nov. 5 general election on Tuesday, along with several related matters.

Two contracts were approved with the Mineola Civic Center, one for election day and the other for early voting if needed.

The civic center will be the new location in Mineola, replacing the First Methodist Church.

If branch early voting is held, it will be at the civic center as well as in Winnsboro and Hawkins during the second week of early voting Oct. 28 to Nov. 1. Early voting is also being conducted at the county elections office in Quitman starting Oct. 21.
