The following criminal cases have been handled in 402nd District Court recently.

A guilty plea was heard Nov. 15.

James Dustin Kidd, Winnsboro, driving while intoxicated third or more, sentenced to 10 years in state prison with 241 days credit for time served.

Motions to revoke probation were entered Nov. 17 for the following cases.

Brandon Lee Caldwell, Quitman, possession of a controlled substance PG1 less than one gram, state jail felony, to serve 12 months in state jail with 264 days credit for time served.

Jerry Dewayne Crawford, Quitman, possession of a controlled substance PG1 one gram or more but less than four, third degree felony, to serve six years in state prison with 338 days credit for time served. 

The following indictments were handed down Oct. 26.

Margarito Branagan Alcantar, Hawkins, burglary of a building, state jail felony, Aug. 13, 2022.

Fabio Armando Mir II, Winnsboro, sexual assault of a child, first degree felony, Sept. 10, 2022.

The following case was filed by information Nov. 10.

Lacey Leann Henson, Winnsboro, manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance PG1 four grams or more but less than 200, first degree felony, Sept. 17, 2022.
