Monday, Oct. 7 is the last day to register to vote in the Nov. 5 presidential election. Registration may be accomplished at the Wood County elections office in Quitman, one block southwest of the courthouse.
The early voting period of two weeks will begin on Monday, Oct. 21 through Friday, Nov. 1 and will be held at the Carroll Green Civic Center in Quitman.
