Dean O’Neal Caffey 1949-2023

Memorial services for Dean O’Neal Caffey, 73, of Mineola will be held Saturday, June 10 at 10:30 a.m. in the New Hope Cemetery.

O’Neal was a 1968 graduate of Hawkins High School. He moved to the Tyler and DFW Metroplex areas, serving as security guard for various companies. After moving back to the Mineola area, he loved playing drums and played for various churches when given the opportunity. He was preceded in death by his father, Doyle Dean Caffey, and his mother, Mary Leenora Saye Caffey.

The Caffey family would like to thank the many friends, nurses and caregivers who extended their expressions of kindness to O’Neal during his tenure in Mineola. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the Gideons International.
