District court hears guilty pleas
The following guilty pleas were heard and sentences assessed in 402nd District Court last week:
Aug. 15
Christopher John McIntosh, Sulphur Springs, improper relationship between educator and student, second degree felony, deferred adjudication, 10 years community supervision with 240 hours community service, $3,000 fine plus court costs.
Fabio Armando Mir, II, Winnsboro, sexual assault of a child-prohibited, first degree felony, 40 years in state prison, $5,000 fine

Travion Daitral Price, Houston, theft of property less than $300,000 (automated teller machine), second degree felony, 12 years in state prison with 977 days credit for time served, $5,000 fine, $32,248.80 restitution; engaging in organized criminal activity, dismissed; unauthorized use of a vehicle, dismissed.
David Brandon Williams, Kemp, manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, penalty group one, four grams or more but less than 200, first degree felony, 15 years in state prison with 446 days credit for time served, $500 fine.
Shane Lynn Joeckel, Longview, failure to register as a sex offender, third degree felony, deferred adjudication, 10 years community supervision with 160 hours community service.
Stephen Dee Mooney, Quitman, manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance penalty group one, four grams or more but less than 200, first degree felony, 20 years in state prison with 267 days credit for time served, $2,500 fine.
