District court hears guilty pleas
The following guilty pleas were entered and sentences assessed in 402nd District Court Thursday, Nov. 13:
James Lloyd Hooks, Mineola, driving while intoxicated third or more, third degree felony, 25 years in the state prison, $100 fine and court costs.
Payton Marie Rosenbusch, Kerville, possession of a controlled substance (PCS) penalty group one (PG1) four grams more but less than 200, second degree felony, 12 years in state prison, $8,000 fine and court costs.
Christopher Ray Ballard, Dallas, burglary of commercial building with intent to commit theft of a controlled substance, third degree felony, five years in state prison, $500 fine and court costs.
James Lowell Koch, Winnsboro, PCS PG1 one gram or more but less than four, third degree felony, four years in state prison, $750 fine and court costs.
Mario Martinez Ipina, Dallas, PCS PG1 one gram or more but less than four, third degree felony, two years in state prison, $1,500 fine and court costs.
Brian Keith Reichel, Mineola, unauthorized use of vehicle, state jail felony, 15 months in state prison, $1,000 fine, and court costs.
Karissa Dawn Kimbley, Killeen, theft of property, $2,500 or more but less than $30,000, state jail felony, four years deferred adjudication, $500 fine and court costs, $3,721 restitution, also admitted guilt to possession of marijuana, two ounces or less.
Justin Robert Pruitt, Lindale, PCS PG1 less than one gram, state jail felony, three years deferred adjudication, $1,000 fine and court costs, also admitted guilt to unauthorized use of vehicle.
Gwen Marie Simek, Frisco, PCS PG2 less than one gram, Class A misdemeanor, 75 days in county jail.
