Etta Duene O’Neal Anders

Services for Etta Duene O’Neal Anders, 77, of Alba, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Amazing Grace Fellowship Church, Alba, with Bro. Byron George officiating, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Salem Cemetery, Alba.
Mrs. Anders passed away May 29, 2026, in Tyler. She was born August 4, 1948, in Sulphur Springs, to Homer Lee and Flora Alendar Ragsdale O’Neal. Duene spent her entire life in the Alba area and was a member of Gunter Assembly of God Church. Duene was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 54 years, C.L. Anders; and her youngest grandson, Louis Lewers.
Survivors include her two daughters, Joetta Anders of Alba and Malisa Thompson and her husband, Bradley of Alba; her sister, Darline Reid of Alba; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.
The family will receive friends at 1 p.m., before the service at the church.
