Final paving set to begin for Hwy. 37 improvement project
Final repaving is set to begin in the highway improvement project on State Hwy. 37 between Mineola and Quitman.
According to the weekly update from the Texas Dept. of Transportation, the permeable friction course surface material installation was set to begin in late March or early April.
The project also continues with driveway installations along the length of the project.
Lane closures with flaggers are possible during the driveway work and are expected during the payment installation.
The $4.58 million project is projected for completion in May.
