Grace Grimes 1930-2024

Grace Simmons Grimes went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Aug. 19, 2024 at age 94. She resided in Bozeman, Mont. Grace was born to William Monroe and Velma Laura Knight Simmons in Pittsburg on May 28, 1930.

Grace is remembered for the deep love she had for her family and church, Myrtle Springs Baptist Church. She is also remembered for her exemplary accomplishments and awards throughout her life as a Texas educator.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert
