Guilty pleas entered in 402nd District Court
The following guilty pleas were heard and sentences assessed Nov. 9 in 402nd District Court:
Amanda Laniel McCann, Paris, possession of a controlled substance penalty group one less than one gram, state jail felony, 12 months in state jail with 147 days credit for time served, $1,500 fine and $290 court costs.
Debrah Elizabeth East, Winnsboro, possession of a controlled substance penalty group one less than one gram, state jail felony, deferred adjudication, three years community supervision with 120 hours community service, $2,000 fine and $290 court costs.
Richard Steven Morgan, Winnsboro, burglary of a building, state jail felony, deferred adjudication, five years community supervision with 120 hours community service and $1,000 fine.
A jury trial was held Nov. 6-8, and the jury delivered a guilty verdict.
Larry Darnell Moungle, Gladewater, assault on a peace officer, 10 years in state prison with 879 days credit for time served, $1,200 fine and $290 court costs.
A guilty plea was heard Monday, Nov. 13.
Acey Joe Farris, Quitman, tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair, third degree felony, deferred adjudication, 10 years community supervision; possession of a controlled substance penalty group one four grams or more but less than 200, second degree felony, 10 years community supervision with 240 hours community service.
