The following guilty pleas were heard and sentences assessed in 402nd District Court on Feb. 1:

James Edward Miller, Yantis, driving while intoxicated third or more, third degree felony, 10 years in state prison suspended for 10 years community supervision with 160 hours community service, $1,000 fine and $475 court costs; evading arrest or detention with motor vehicle, third degree felony, concurrent sentence with $375 court costs.

Brian Timothy Hunt, Hawkins, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, third degree felony, 10 years in state prison with 667 days credit for time served, $290 court costs; sexual assault of a child, second degree felony, dismissed.

Sean Clay Earle, Yantis, evading arrest or detention, Class A misdemeanor, two days in county jail with four days credit, $290 court costs; deadly conduct, Class A misdemeanor, dismissed.

Jennifer Danell Seward, Garland, possession of a controlled substance (PCS) penalty group (PG) one four or more grams but less than 200, second degree felony, deferred adjudication, five years community supervision with 240 hours community service, $1,500 fine and $290 court costs.

Tommy Wayne Anderson, Texarkana, forgery of a financial instrument, state jail felony, six years in state prison suspended for six years community supervision, 120 hours community service, $4,000 fine and $290 court costs.

Christopher Evin Pryon, Winnsboro, tampering/fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, third degree felony, 10 years in state prison with 650 days credit for time served, $2,000 fine and $290 court costs.
