High school student artwork on display at Winnsboro center

The artwork of 50 talented teens from 10 high schools in Northeast Texas will be on display during the 8th Annual Art in the Gallery High School Art Competition at The Winnsboro Center for the Arts March 5-April 16, Wednesday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This event serves area teens as a venue to showcase their artistic accomplishments and learn life-lessons through competition. An artist reception will be held March 20 where ribbons and cash prizes will be awarded for Best in Show, Excellence in Fine Arts, Best Use of Media, Most Imaginative and the Picasso Award.

Special Olympics returns in style
