Former classmates, many local friends, neighbors and family gathered at the Log Cabin Inn weekly to eat their delicious fare. But the real treat was listening to Hugh sing his many favorite songs from all genres and especially Elvis and gospel. Hugh had such a melancholy voice with all ages enjoying listening to their favorite songs. The treasured trait of Hugh’s to his many friends and family has always been his infectious smile. You just knew when you were in his presence you would feel joy immediately. There is not a memory or photo that Hugh was not wearing his awesome smile and up until his last peaceful breath.
