Jaynie (Janet) Ruth Lee joined her husband, Michael Sevenants and our loving God on the sabbath day of Aug. 14, 2022 at age 82. She was born on Feb. 27, 1940 in Watertown, N.Y. to parents Walter John Lee and Pearl Amelia Hall.

She is survived by her former spouse, Don V. Poole and their children, Donald Poole, David Poole, Wendy Poole-Bogue and Jaynie Poole; her son, Joshua Horvath; brother, Robert and wife Elizabeth; and sister, Joan Lee. She was a loving grandmother to 17 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren and was much loved by her nieces and nephews.

Jaynie lived her life out loud with no apologies. She started and operated several small businesses in the 1980s, was crowned Mrs. New York State in 1982, then purchased the franchise and successfully produced pageants for Mrs. America. She was also a  professional actress, singer, dancer, artist, philanthropist and best known for her Christian radio ministries in various parts of the world.

She was a dedicated Christian, a member of the LDS church and had an unwavering love for Jesus. Her life’s work was bringing people closer to Him. She now meets Him face-to-face and has blessed us all with her famous quote, “Keep looking up. God’s got a miracle…JUST for you!”

Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2022 at Kelsey Cemetery in Upshur County, with Bishop Representative Andrew Geunther officiating.
