Kenneth Walter Fancher, 1936-2019

Funeral services for Kenneth Walter Fancher, age 82, of Mineola were Monday, Feb. 4 at First Baptist Church in Mineola with Dr. Mark Neeley officiating. Internment was at Cedar Memorial Gardens in Mineola.

Mr. Fancher died Jan. 30, 2019, in Tyler. He was born June 27, 1936, in Rocky Ford, Colo., to the late Joseph Eugene Fancher and Ida Elizabeth Fancher. He was a retired vice president of operations with AT&T and was a member of First Baptist Church of Mineola and the Mineola Masonic Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, David Rodney Fancher; and son-in-law, Tommy Noah Tucker.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lanell Fancher of Mineola; sons, Darren Elliott Fancher of Tallahassee and Kirk Alan Fancher of Tyler; daughters, Kathleen Jane Tucker of Highland Village, Deborah Sue Rettedal of Denver, Christine Michelle Hill of Tyler, Marsha D’Laine Ivy of Flower Mound, Susan Denise Walker of Tyler, and Amanda Jonell Davis of Chesterfield; brother, Donald Eugene Fancher of Long Beach; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
