Lack of grant interferes with free dump days

The Upper Sabine Valley Solid Waste Management District will not host free dump days for Wood County residents this year.
They have been held in recent years on Saturday in late April and early May at the four county precinct locations.
The district did not receive the grant it has in past years to fund the free dump days.
