Dear editor:

We are overwhelmed and humbled by the generosity of time and talent from all the volunteers that worked so diligently on the paint and repairs project at Ms. Betty’s house on Saturday, July 30 and the many, long hot days prior.

It could not have been such a great success without each and every one of them.

To: Chris and TheyGotYourSix, Bobbie and Nicole - Combat Veteran’s Motorcade, Josh and Jayme at Superior Roofing, Michael at Hometown Consulting and Construction, Tim-Stone Painting, George and Gus, Valerie, Jessica, Christopher, Leslie and Janae.

Also, Janet at Mercy Mall and Amy at Good Assist, Officer Donivan and Pizza Hut and a big thanks to Abel and Luis at Sherwin Williams for the paint.

There are many others that we didn’t get their names.

To thank them adequately is impossible.

As Martin Luther King said: “Everybody can be great because anybody can serve. You only need a heart full of grace”

Bless you all,

Betty Shackleford
