Linda Gail Rilea 1949-2024

Linda Gail Rilea, 75, of Yantis passed away on Aug. 7, 2024. Linda was married to Clyde Rilea, also of Yantis, for 17 years. She was the daughter of Louis and Eunice Collier of New Boston. She was born Feb. 18, 1949 in Alameda, Calif. and moved to Texas in 1985. She was an active member of Lake Fork Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a younger sister, Suzie; and three sons, John Jr., Richard and Andrew.

She is survived by her husband, Clyde. Linda’s extended family includes stepdaughter, Anna Rilea and husband Rob Jowett; stepson, Mitchel Rilea and wife Jacquelyn Rilea; two stepsons from a previous marriage, James Holden and Joseph Holden of Louisiana; and numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be conducted at a later date.

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
