Mary Lou Foster Doyal 1936-2026

Mary Lou Foster Doyal passed away on July 4, 2026, in Piedmont, Alabama.
She was born on March 15, 1936 in Point, Texas.doy
She is survived by her stepsons, Don Doyal and Larry Doyal (Jo); grandchildren, Amanda Bangs (Randall); great grandchildren, Gracie Bangs, Randa Bangs; aunt, Betty Cunningham; cousin, Darlene Christian.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Doyal; special friend, Dean Felts; parents, JD and Jess Foster; stepdaughter, Carol Doyal; and daughter-in-law, Dona Doyal.
She graduated from Texas Wesleyan University, and her job brought her to Alabama. In Alabama she met and married Ted Doyal. After his passing she moved back to Texas for a while before coming back to Alabama. She went on to retire as a social worker for the state of Alabama. During her life she was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Oxford, AL, and in Mineola, TX. She was a resident of Oxford, Alabama at the time of her passing. She will be truly missed.
