Mineola FFA team places in state contest
The Mineola FFA Public Relations team placed 7th in the State FFA Leadership Development Event Contest.
Leadership Development Events (LDEs) focus on creating opportunities for members to demonstrate their abilities in public speaking, decision making, communication and their knowledge of agriculture and the FFA organization. These team and individual events reinforce what is taught in agricultural science classrooms.
FFA contests differ from UIL events in that schools are not separated by size—students from 2A to 6A schools all compete in the same division.
This outstanding group of young women earned the titles of District Champions, Area Champions, and now 7th Place Team in State.
