The homecoming court of the Mineola High School 2020 ceremony Friday includes queen nominees, seniors Camila Ramos and Melissa Rojas, juniors Tahjae Black and Olivia Toledo, sophomores Alyssa Lankford and Brittany Pickle and freshmen Toni Brannan and Caidyn Anderson.

The duchesses include senior Pricila Torres, junior Sunni Ruffin, sophomore Allison Hooton and freshman Macy Fischer.

The ceremony will commence at 7 p.m. prior to the Mineola-Bonham varsity football game Oct. 2 at Meredith Memorial Stadium.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Come on over to Mineola’s beautiful Historic Select Theater and hear the Lake Country Symphonic Band’s Christmasy “Everything Christmas” concert.

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
