Mineola ISD Education Foundation makes teachers’ day
Cowbells clanged, drummers drummed, cheerleaders cheered, bubbles floated and confetti rained down as the prize patrol for the Mineola ISD Education Foundation made its annual rounds of the school campuses Friday.
The foundation continued to increase its donations to fund teacher grants, giving away a record $80,600 this year.
The grant awards included $74,425 from funds raised through various foundation benefits, and $5,600 in additional CTE grants funded by an anonymous donor.
