Mineola Library Notes
It is almost the year’s end – can you believe it?
Thank you to everyone who baked, bought and manned the counter at our Holiday Cookie Sale. It was a great success and we appreciate each and every one of you.
Our Annual Open House is Thursday, Dec. 11 from 4-6 p.m. It is a come and go with beverages in the Meredith Room and snacks throughout the library. We have it on good authority Santa Claus will even be stopping by about 4:15 until about 5:30. We’ve even invited our friends from the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Please, stop by.
Programs will continue until Dec. 20. Tuesday at 9 a.m. Toddler Story Time, Wednesday at 10 a.m. Preschool Story Time, Toddler 2x2 on Saturday Dec. 13 at 2 p.m., Homeschool Heroes on Friday, Dec. 19 at 10 a.m., and the Crafter group will meet one more time on Saturday, Dec. 20.
Please note: the Mineola Memorial Library will be closed Dec. 21-25 and again Dec. 28-Jan. 1. This includes our regular closed days of Sunday and Monday plus a few extra for our staff to have time with family and friends.
