Mineola Library Notes
The end of 2025 is fast approaching, and great possibilities loom on the horizon with the coming of 2026. Time has certainly flown by this past month.
The Mineola Memorial Library will be closed its usual Sundays and Mondays, and also Dec. 23-25/Dec. 30-Jan. 1. The staff deserves a long break to spend with family and friends so they can return ready for the new year.
If you have an idea for the library to try in 2026, please let us know.
We are normally open Tuesday to Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. We close at 6 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, 4 p.m. on Friday, and 3 p.m. on Saturday. That is five days a week totaling 40 hours that we are here for you.
Wi-Fi is available from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. (unless there’s a service interruption). Our address is 301 N. Pacific, and our website is www.mineolalibrary.com.
We have accomplished many things this past year, and I will review them in our next column.
We wish to thank everyone who has supported the Mineola Memorial Library in 2025 with their patronage and donations. Thank you to everyone who has supported us through our many fundraisers. Those organizing and working the fundraisers are appreciated just as much as your patronage. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit library, and your donations, along with grants, help us serve this community.
Thank you to the Devlin family, the Rotary Club and Origin Bank for their financial support of the Mineola Memorial Library. We also thank the Twentieth Century Club for their donation in honor of their past president. Your donations may be tax-deductible.
