Mineola pair earns all-state football honors
Two Mineola players have been named to the Padilla Poll coaches all-state football team for Class 3A Division 1.
Senior Dawson Pendergrass, a Baylor commit, was named to the first team as a running back.
Sophomore Noah Turner made the second team as a kicker.
The district was well represented as Winnsboro junior quarterback Kyler Finney and Mount Vernon senior running back Makenzie McGill also made the first team offense and Mount Vernon junior lineman Boone Morris made the first team defense. Teammate junior lineman Connor Cobern was second team on defense.
