1:07 a.m., suspicious vehicle, 400 blk S. Pacific, subject taking nap.

1:58 a.m., suspicious vehicle, Nature Preserve, vehicle locked and secure.

2:21 a.m., suspicious vehicle, NE Loop 564, no one around.

7:36 a.m., suspicious vehicle, Nature Preserve, owner no longer lives at address on registration, further advised registered owner deceased.

7:38 a.m., alarm, W. Loop 564, employees.

8:54 a.m., public assist, 100 blk E. Front, subject with questions about prior incident.

11:37 a.m., found property, Debby, bag with white crystal found in room while cleaning.

1:37 p.m., assist other agency, S. Hwy. 69 at river bridge, vehicle fire.

3:04 p.m., reckless driver, E. McDonald, two vehicles speeding, officer observed traffic in area.

5:47 p.m., found property, 300 Greenville, subject turned in wallet, returned to owner.

5:51 p.m., unknown offense, Second, report of large bonfire at home where subjects are out of town, no fire observed, home secure.

7:04 p.m., welfare concern, Goodson Cir., subject was advised that officers had contact with person.

8:10 p.m., reckless driver, Hwy. 37 South, unable to maintain lane, distracted driving while playing Pokemon.

8:46 p.m., city ordinance violation, Mimosa, fireworks, unable to locate.

8:47 p.m., unknown offense, Lee, someone throwing items at residence, officer unable to locate anyone.

9:30 p.m., city ordinance violation, Nuss at Pat, fireworks, unable to locate.

11:24 p.m., city ordinance violation, 1000 blk Sycamore, fireworks, none observed, checking debris in roadway.

11:51 p.m., city ordinance violation, N. Line, fireworks, verbal warning. 

January 1

12:00 a.m., city ordinance violation, 100 blk Francis, fireworks.

12:14 a.m., vehicle stop/arrest, 100 blk Francis, Gustavo Hernandez-Palacios arrested for driving while intoxicated third offense.

1:05 a.m., suspicious person, Cage, man walking up and down street, unable to locate.

1:20 a.m., unknown offense, N. Pacific, phone stolen, location identified, officer advised phone lost, not stolen.

1:53 a.m., city ordinance violation, Graves, fireworks, verbal warning.

9:54 a.m., motorist assist, S. Pacific at city limits, bag of trash in roadway, cleared.

12:30 p.m., theft, N. Newsom, female in Dumpster, asked to leave and refused, two citations, three warnings, subject criminally trespassed, license plate reported stolen, removed and taken to police station.

3:23 p.m., city ordinance violation, S. Johnson, loud music, music turned down.

4:38 p.m., city ordinance violation, Graham at Buchanan, loud music, music turned down.

5:25 p.m., reckless driver, Phillips, driver reported almost hitting children on bicycles.

January 2

2:13 a.m., public assist, Lakeside, subject heard knock, no one there, wanted residence checked.

1:12 p.m., motor vehicle accident, 100 blk W. Front, one vehicle, injuries.

1:47 p.m., assist other agency, 100 blk N. Pacific, traffic control for water department.

8:48 p.m., motor vehicle accident, NE Loop 564, two vehicles, EMS and fire contacted.

January 3

10:15 a.m., unknown offense, Graham, 911 hang up, no one at residence.

1:06 p.m., city ordinance violation, Second, man in yard building fire, fire is contained in a pit.

2:41 p.m., information, 300 Greenville, subject’s daughter talking to older man, advised to contact city in which he lives, discovered the man is wanted and lives in Smith County.

3:32 p.m., public assist, E. Blair, subjects just purchased home and there is a vehicle in the driveway, owner contacted and will be moved.

January 4

9:08 a.m., assist other agency, W. Kilpatrick, assist EMS, subject refused transport.

9:09 a.m., escort, N. Pacific, funeral.

9:40 a.m., reckless driver, 1800 blk W. Broad, unable to maintain lane, unable to locate.

2:50 p.m., welfare concern, N. Newsom, small children playing at park unattended, were being supervised by adult in vehicle.

3:37 p.m., suspicious person, NE Loop 564, subject poured alcoholic drink in cup and went in store, gone upon officer arrival.

6:59 p.m., city ordinance violation, University, large fireworks display, verbal warning.

9:55 p.m., suspicious vehicle, N. Pacific, parked in alley, left scene.

11:36 p.m., assist other agency, N. Newsom, EMS call, subject transported.

January 5

11:45 a.m., theft, Evans, pickup stolen, located at 12:08 p.m., unoccupied, returned to owner.

1:15 p.m., welfare concern, W. Blair, 911 hang up, subject having issues with phone.

2:26 p.m., assist other agency, S. Pacific, assist sheriff’s office with arrest, subject not located.

2:43 p.m., assist other agency, Bromberg, assist sheriff’s office with arrest, subject not located.

2:50 p.m., assist other agency, W. Blair, assist sheriff’s office with arrest, subject not located.

3:56 p.m., unknown offense, N. Johnson, checking building.

6:52 p.m., burglary, Molly, medication missing.

8:06 p.m., alarm, W. Loop 564, set off by employee.

8:32 p.m., assist other agency, N. Newsom, assist with landing zone.

11:57 p.m., welfare concern, NE Loop 564, vehicle in parking lot over three hours with lights on, driver taking nap.

January 6

10:53 a.m., missing person, Wigley, have not heard from son, sent text advising he was OK.

11:22 a.m., welfare concern, NE Loop 564, person passed out in vehicle at pumps, left prior to officer arrival.

12:20 p.m., reckless driver, Broad at Pacific, unable to maintain lane, unable to locate.

1:26 p.m., alarm, Circle, everything OK.

6:29 p.m., unknown offense, 1800 blk W. Broad, vehicle coming to Mineola without tail lights, unable to locate.

6:41 p.m., unknown offense, CR 2724, vehicle at Nature Preserve after hours, will check again.

8:58 p.m., welfare concern, 1200 blk Bromberg, have not heard from son, not at location, arrived and informed officer that he had spoken to father.

Officers also made 63 traffic stops and 14 animal control calls during the week.
