August 28

7:52 a.m., reckless driver, N. Pacific at city limits, passing on wrong side, unable to locate.

8:11 a.m., reckless driver, 1200 blk N. Pacific, passed on wrong side and yelled at reporting party, party followed and saw vehicle parked, spoke with officer, no report to be filed.

11:46 a.m., fraud, W. Blair, party talking with scammers, supposed to come to home to get money, will contact if anyone shows up.

12:27 p.m., disturbance, Harris, man yelling at subject, parties separated.

12:47 p.m., civil matter, Wren, stand by requested for child custody pick up.

1:04 p.m., assist other agency, N. Newsom, verification requested of resident.

2:34 p.m., public assist, 700 blk E. Broad, motorist seeking directions.

3:37 p.m., suspicious person, N. Newsom, CPS case worker.

7:07 p.m., unknown offense, FM 1254, child screaming and crying, says parents won’t let in house, no apparent criminal act.

8:32 p.m., unknown offense, E. Blair, 911 hang up, no disturbance located in area, officer knocked on door of residence and observed occupants inside turn off TV and retreat to unknown area of house, no one came to door.

August 29

12:09 p.m., suspicious vehicle, NE Loop 564, occupants arguing, left prior to officer arrival.

1:42 a.m., civil matter, Wren, ex-wife convinced daughter to sneak out of house, BOLO issued.

8:55 a.m., vehicle stop/arrest, 100 blk N. Newsom, Mario Augistin Pena, Gilmer, arrested for possession of controlled substance.

9:23 a.m., assist other agency, University, delivered death message for Rusk County.

11:47 a.m., public assist, 300 Greenville, fingerprinting.

2:30 p.m., motor vehicle accident, S. Pacific, two vehicles.

4:19 p.m., public assist, 300 Greenville, fingerprinting.

4:28 p.m., reckless drivers, S. Pacific at city limits, two vehicles racing, unable to locate.

6:33 p.m., welfare concern, NE Loop 564, 911 hang up, unable to locate.

9:17 p.m., city ordinance violation, Wood, loud music, unable to locate.

11:41 p.m., assist other agency, S. Pacific at river bridge, minor accident. 

August 30

6:47 a.m., motor vehicle accident, 300 blk NW Loop 564, vehicle in ditch, wrecker contacted.

7:23 a.m., motorist assist, N. Newsom at E. Patten, vehicle broken down, legally parked out of roadway.

1:39 p.m., assist other agency, NE Loop 564, EMS call.

1:43 p.m., welfare concern, E. Broad, concern for co-worker who lost job, no cause for concern.

3:07 p.m., welfare concern, 200 blk Greenville, four children in vehicle without seat belts, officer observed, appeared to have seat belts on.

3:41 p.m., civil matter, 300 Greenville, request information on case.

4:06 p.m., trespassing, NE Loop 564, ex-employee refusing to leave, subject criminally trespassed.

5:45 p.m., motor vehicle accident, 400 blk Sycamore, two vehicles, one on its side.

10:40 p.m., disturbance, W. Kilpatrick, son tearing up house, everything OK.

August 31

12:12 a.m., suspicious vehicle, N. Pacific, vehicle unoccupied.

12:56 a.m., subject stopped, Giles at Sycamore, two subjects walking, everything OK.

1:08 a.m.,suspicious vehicle, Buchanan at Sycamore, vehicle with windows fogged, everything OK.

2:33 a.m., suspicious person, Country Club Dr., heard shots fired, everything OK.

3:09 a.m., assist other agency, Spring Lake, lift assist.

6:12 a.m., assist other agency, Wigley, EMS call.

11:05 a.m., motor vehicle accident, N. Pacific, two vehicles with injuries, one driver transported by EMS.

1:21 p.m., public assist, NE Loop 564, vehicle in handicap spot, vehicle does have placard.

2:37 p.m., disturbance, W. Kilpatrick, son making threats, no offense, juvenile will spend night with friend.

2:52 p.m., theft, NE Loop 564, subject returned items in store.

5:16 p.m., assist other agency, NE Loop 564, subject requested EMS for amnesia, transported.

6:55 p.m., unknown offense, E. Blair, open 911 call, everything OK.

7:25 p.m., motorist assist, CR 2724, vehicle parked on grass, subject agreed to move.

7:48 p.m., theft, Wigley, debit card stolen, money taken from ATM.

8:33 p.m., suspicious person, S. Pacific, subject with flashlight trying to get in gate, subject works there. 

September 1

12:49 a.m., city ordinance violation, W. Kilpatrick, subject awakened by neighbors working on house, will stop for the night.

2:06 a.m., suspicious vehicle, W. Loop 564, subjects having relations in vehicle, advised to go home.

2:38 a.m., suspicious vehicle, NE Loop 564, vehicle unoccupied.

7:07 a.m., suspicious person, W. Patten at Loop 564, subject running in and out of traffic, transported by EMS.

10:16 p.m., civil matter, N. Johnson, eviction issue, party removing property.

10:57 a.m., reckless driver, N. Newsom at Ivey, unable to maintain lane, officer observed no impairment.

11:26 a.m., disturbance, Lowe, subject left with probation officer.

12:58 p.m., suspicious person, 500 blk E. Broad, subject running down road with vest and mask.

3:47 p.m., disturbance, Country Club Dr., husband in home having verbal fight, has protective order, Severiano Candelario arrested.

5:44 p.m., disturbance, Goodson Cir., someone yelling to call police, parties separated, no offense.

6:24 p.m., civil matter, N. Johnson, subject refusing to leave property, referred to justice of the peace.

7:04 p.m., assist other agency, N. Newsom, medical call.

8:18 p.m., information, CR 2724, subject locking Nature Preserve.

9:24 p.m., unsecured area, 1000 blk W. Loop 564, open door, doors secured and gates locked.

10:28 p.m., city ordinance violation, 400 blk McWhorter, loud music, subjects turning down music.

10:53 p.m., suspicious vehicle, N. Pacific, subjects leaving.

11:07 p.m., suspicious vehicle, N. Pacific, everything OK. 

September 2

3:25 a.m., suspicious vehicle, Stone at Walnut, everything OK.

7:29 a.m., motor vehicle accident, 1400 blk S. Pacific, two vehicles.

8:50 a.m., welfare concern, 1200 blk N. Pacific, iPhone alert, no vehicle crash observed.

9:36 a.m., welfare concern, W. Patten, mother and child did not show up for custody exchange, contacted and everything OK.

12:28 p.m., suspicious vehicle, 1000 blk Sycamore, vehicle driving slowly, directed patrol issued.

12:42 p.m., formation, Sycamore, officer flagged down, different vehicle driving in area.

2:25 p.m., welfare concern, N. Newsom, 911 hang up, accidental.

2:52 p.m., suspicious subject, Giraud, same juvenile who tried to sell store bought cookies previously came into residence without permission, officer advised juvenile.

5:18 p.m., disturbance, E. McDonald, subject came to residence drinking beer and yelling about use of alley, subjects criminally trespassed.

5:57 p.m., public assist, 300 Greenville, question about paper tag placement.

6:00 p.m., public assist, 100 blk E. Front, keys locked in depot.

7:21 p.m., assist other agency, S. Pacific at Loop 564, grass fire.

7:40 p.m., information, E. McDonald, branches left in alley from prior incident, cleared.

7:47 p.m., terroristic threat, Wigley, directed patrol issued.

8:03 p.m., public assist, Old Tyler Hwy., small grass fire, church members put it out.

9:14 p.m., city ordinance violation, Dubose, loud music, officer advised it can barely be heard.

10:03 p.m., motorist assist, W. Broad at city limits, subject has someone coming to assist.

11:19 p.m., disturbance, Read, verbal only, no offense. 

September 3

9:25 a.m., identity theft, E. McDonald, someone opened account in victim’s name.

2:16 p.m., theft, Goodson Cir., miscellaneous clothes.

2:27 p.m., fraud, E. Broad.

4:19 p.m., motorist assist, 1300 blk N. Pacific, vehicle out of roadway.

10:02 p.m., suspicious vehicle, Meadowbrook, vehicle driving up and down road, unable to locate.

September 4

12:20 p.m., unknown offense, S. Pacific, loud noise coming from cemetery, unable to locate.

6:51 a.m., assist other agency, combative patient, transported by EMS.

6:52 a.m., assist other agency, N. Johnson, cardiac arrest.

11:52 a.m., motor vehicle accident, W. Kilpatrick at Line, no injuries.

5:43 p.m., public assist, Francis, request for information on prior incident.

6:00 p.m., suspicious person, NE Loop 564, subject took photos, left prior to officer arrival.

6:15 p.m., motorist assist, NE Loop 564, vehicle on its way.

11:12 p.m., suspicious vehicle, McWhorter, vehicle in driveway of abandoned property, subject was meeting someone.

11:55 p.m., vehicle stop/arrest, 100 blk N. Pacific, Alex Edward Hart, Lindale arrested for driving while intoxicated with open alcohol container.

September 5

3:23 p.m., found property, N. Pacific, card canceled and destroyed.

4:17 p.m., public assist, 300 Greenville, information requested about accident.

6:23 p.m., public assist, NE Loop 564, information requested for previous event.

7:23 p.m., motorist assist, NW Loop 564 at Hwy. 69, vehicle broken down in roadway, pushed off roadway.

7:34 p.m., unknown offense, 300 blk Graham, everything OK.

8:00 p.m., public assist, NE Loop 564, distraught female, unable to locate.

September 6

6:13 a.m., welfare concern, English, 911 call, no response, accidental.

8:47 a.m., assist other agency, 300 Greenville, Gregg County prisoner transport needed restroom.

8:34 p.m., assist other agency, Graham, tree fell into power line.

11:40 p.m., disturbance, N. Johnson, people in street fighting, left while subject making call.

Officers also made 86 traffic stops and answered 30 animal control calls and three alarms.
