5:26 a.m., suspicious person/vehicle, N. Newsom, car parked on property, caller wants subject trespassed. No vehicle on property.

2:11 p.m., welfare concern, W. Kilpatrick, customer sent concerning text. All well.

5:01 p.m., suspicious person, W. Broad/N. Johnson, man drinking beer, cursing. Subject not intoxicated, informed could not drink beer at location.

6:14 p.m., suspicious person, N. Pacific, man yelling at customers in parking lot, escorted to Tyler

6:26 p.m., theft, NE Loop 564, man believes car stolen from parking lot, vehicle parked on other side of lot, not stolen.

8:02 p.m., public assist, N. Newsom/E. Broad, barricade left after parade, barricade moved.

10:51 p.m., disturbance, Goodson Cir., mother, son arguing, verbal only, no assistance needed.

10:53 p.m., city ordinance violation, W. McDonald, dog barking, keeping daughter awake, unable to locate.

11:03 p.m., motor vehicle accident, N. Johnson/E. Broad, iPhone automated text alerted car accident, debris in roadway, phone owner contacted.

5:57 a.m., information, Graham, roadway blocked, cleared.

6:21 a.m., vehicle stop, Hwy. 69/Toll 49, vehicle swerved, almost hit cars, officer en route home pulled over car. Smith County Sheriff’s Office unable to come. Standard field sobriety tests performed, passed, driver smoking marijuana earlier, switched with passenger, released.

8:20 a.m., found property, E. Front, fanny pack with personal items, given to owner’s mother.

11:15 a.m., public assist, Kevin, caller locked out of car with dog inside, door unlocked.

3:13 p.m., reckless driver, Debbie Ln., two drivers in road rage incident.

3:16 p.m., suspicious vehicle, E. Broad, vehicle with flat tire in one spot for two weeks, property owner gave permission to be there.

7:42 p.m., found property, E. Broad, debit card.

9:19 p.m., welfare concern, Autumn Wind Court, nephew under concern, no threats made, all well.

9:22 p.m., drug offense, N. Newsom, neighbor smoking marijuana, smell permeating, no odor detected.

Dec. 8

8:45 a.m., assist other agency, N. Pacific/NE Loop 564, 18-wheeler rollover, oil spilled. TxDOT/DPS contacted.

10:40 a.m., information, South, caller wants tool box from home, has protective order, officer answered questions, referred to signing judge’s office.

11:45 a.m., disturbance, Wren, loud music, police no longer needed, caller found problematic area, turned his music up, told homeowner he could stay there all day, music turned down, caller went home, no loud music heard in area.

11:59 a.m., disturbance, E. Broad, verbal road rage, parties separated.

12:04 p.m., welfare concern, Meredith, 911 hang up, no answer, nothing seen or heard in area.

2:42 p.m., welfare concern, Autumn Wind Court, CPS contacted to file missing persons report for juvenile, subject will not be filed as missing, supposed to be staying with someone at assisted living, welfare check conducted, all well.

3:23 p.m., assist other agency, S. Pacific/S. Loop 564, car accident, left in care of fire, DPS, one lane of Hwy. 69 S. closed

4:20 p.m., public assist, 300 Greenville, subject wanted to speak about case.

6:51 p.m., city ordinance violation, McWhorter/Baker, someone burning, fire out.

7:18 p.m., reckless driver, NE Loop 564/Brett, no headlights or tail lights, warning issued.

8:25 p.m., welfare concern. W. Broad, 911 hangup, unable to locate.

11:42 p.m., disturbance, N. Newsom, wanted someone off property, no offense committed.

Dec. 9

2:13 p.m., assault, 300 Greenville, assault over property, suspect and victim driving to police station.

5:12 p.m., party associated with incident at 2:13 p.m. wants to speak to officer, advised to call back in morning.

6:38 p.m., motorist assist, S. Pacific/Old Tyler, caller has flat tire, not at described location, in Smith County, Smith County notified, contacting DPS.

7:20 p.m., public assist, NE Loop 564/CR 2503, several pallets in the road, road clear, TxDOT contacted.

7:56 p.m., assist other agency, S. Hwy. 69/Smith County Line, assisting DPS with a jack to change tire.

Dec. 10

12:17 a.m., motor vehicle accident, NE Loop 564, street sweeper hit hole in parking lot, damaged, company called wrecker.

8:02 a.m., welfare concern, Bromberg, concerning texts sent, subject lives with mother but caller unsure of mother’s information, unwilling to give more information, contacted apartment manager, didn’t know description, couldn’t look up without mother’s name, welfare check unable to be completed, subject called police and said was fine.

8:11 a.m., criminal mischief, W. Front, ruts made in front yard, subject not home when officer came.

8:16 a.m., city ordinance violation, Turman, gun shot heard, blown transformer.

10:22 a.m., reckless driver, W. Loop, car all over the roadway, unable to locate.

10:27 a.m., theft, Mimosa, wallet stolen, debit card attempted.

4:33 p.m., found property, W. Front, keys found.

5:02 p.m., suspicious person/vehicle, E. Broad, male in white convertible, drinking beer, dog in car, no vehicle with that description.

5:25 p.m., disturbance, Stone/Walnut, two groups of teens fighting at skate park, talking about pulling gun, no one in area at officer’s arrival.

6:39 p.m., public assist, N. Pacific, locked self out of building, other keyholder en route to let in.

8:53 p.m., welfare concern, 300 Greenville, subject wanted to speak to someone about son, subject transported to UT Health in Quitman per his request.

11:15 p.m., welfare concern, N. Pacific, subject requesting officer, son needs to go with EMS to hospital, went willingly.

Dec. 11

9:56 a.m., theft, Molly, unclear if package delivered or stolen, report made.

10:17 a.m., public assist, Royal Lane, officer called to help, all well.

10:58 a.m., city ordinance violation, Wigley, woman shoots squirrels with BB gun, caught on video, contact made, subject made aware of game hunting, city ordinance and safety issues.

1:07 p.m., motor vehicle accident. NE Loop 564, hit and run in parking lot.

1:26 p.m., reckless driver, S. Pacific/Old Tyler, unable to locate.

2:34 p.m., information, 300 Greenville, wanted to talk about granddaughter riding at 100 mph down FM 1254, hanging out at skate park in Mineola, Tyler, found at skate park during Dec. 10 disturbance that broke up before officers’ arrival.

2:54 p.m., public assist, S. Pacific, truck pulling trailer with concrete, concrete falling off.

8:11 p.m., suspicious person/vehicle, Sycamore, vehicle ahead of caller’s made abrupt right-hand turn without signal, caller swerved and honked, driver followed, cursed; caller went through drive-thru, realized driver followed home, driver spoke to caller when caller in driveway.

9:45 p.m., assist other agency, FM 1253/CR 448, truck traveling 80 mph, Smith County Sheriff’s Office on foot pursuit, deputy alone, requested MPD backup, subject in custody prior to arrival

7:42 a.m., information, SE Loop 564, possible incident at nature preserve, officers attempted to call back several times, spoke with Nature Preserve manager, nothing found.

8:36 a.m., warrant service, 300 Greenville, Anthony Michael Brewer arrested on warrant.

11:07 a.m., reckless driver, W. Broad, no license plates, hood up, unable to locate.

5:43 p.m., assist other agency, W. Broad/S. Cheek, assisted Sheriff’s Office with search, firearm recovered, two people tried to prevent car from being towed, car towed.

6:50 p.m., reckless driver, N. Hwy. 69/City Limits, unable to maintain lane, high speeds, unable to locate.

9:18 p.m., disturbance, NE Loop 564, two males arguing, no weapons, both got into car with female driver, unable to locate.

9:55 p.m., motor vehicle accident, E. Broad, iPhone automated text alerted accident occurred, unable to locate.

11:07 p.m., suspicious person/vehicle, Mimosa, female seemed confused in parking lot, daughter concerned about police interaction as subject easily agitated, daughter lives near San Antonio, en route to pick up mother in police lobby.

Officers responded to 70 other traffic stops, 22 animal control calls and one alarm.
