Feb. 14
1:44 a.m., driving while intoxicated, NE Loop 564; unlawful carry of a weapon, case report filed.
3:50 a.m., suspicious person, S Johnson; suspicious people hanging around vehicles in front of subject’s car, subject armed, officer did not see anyone outside at time, subject claiming property damage, rust on property did not occur tonight.
7:02 a.m., information only, N Pacific/Spring Lake; broken-down vehicle.
4:30 p.m., theft, N Newsom; subject said two kids potentially stealing items from car, shop, case report filed.
7:10 p.m., suspicious person/vehicle, S Pacific; motorcycle without license plates.
10:19 p.m., assist other agency, FM 2966; Wood County Sheriff’s Office report of shots fired, with two officers hit.
Feb. 15
12:23 a.m., suspicious person/vehicle, Pegues; vehicle driving up and down street, then parked, subject told to leave.
12:59 a.m., assist other agency, N Pacific; possible alcohol poisoning, breathing difficulties, EMS on scene.
2:01 a.m., disturbance, W Kilpatrick; verbal dispute, male wanted female to leave house so he could have other woman over, parties sleep in separate rooms, 2nd 911 call.
7:55 p.m., suspicious person/vehicle, N Johnson; subject saw flashlights in backyard, saw someone run, unable to locate.
10:35 p.m., information only, N Pacific; kids in new parking lot revving truck engine, left, other kids hanging around outside, officer stayed in area until 11:25 p.m.
Feb. 16
11:39 a.m., welfare concern, Heritage; 911 hang-up, goes to voicemail, homeowner said accident call, nothing further.
2:39 p.m., harassment, Porter; harassment, officer will fill in call notes.
2:42 p.m., suspicious person/vehicle, Freeman; male, small child riding four-wheeler in new parking lot, unable to locate.
4:39 p.m., disturbance, NE Loop 564; male causing disturbance, left.
8:22 p.m., welfare concern, W Loop 564; fire at address, controlled burn.
10:51 p.m., welfare concern, W Kilpatrick; 911 open line, nobody called from location.
9:00 p.m., welfare concern, Maxine; subject’s girlfriend in trouble, EMS on scene, going willingly with EMS to ER.
Feb. 17
5:45 a.m., welfare concern, NE Loop 564; 911 open line, accidental call.
10:05 a.m., burglary, Country Club; washer and dryer taken from vacant home, case report filed.
11:21 a.m., warrant service, Peachtree; Amy Kathleen Hayes arrested for theft of property greater than or equal to $100 but less than $750.
6:12 p.m., assault, S Pacific; subject came into store, yelling, assaulted caller, left, criminal trespass warning will be issued, case report filed.
8:23 p.m., motor vehicle accident, FM 1801/Loop 564; major accident, contraband located in Amy Arana’s Chevy pickup, Jeep belongs to Alyssa Galaz, TxDOT notified, third vehicle fled, no contact made, Wood County Sheriff’s Office contacted, all units en route to location, case report filed.
8:50 p.m., assist other agency, W Patten; subject transported by EMS.
9:36 p.m., drug offense, FM 1801/Loop 564; case report filed for drug offense related to 8:23 p.m. incident.
Feb. 18
6:23 a.m., reckless driver, N Pacific/city limit; flatbed truck unable to maintain lane, unable to locate
7:45 a.m., information, Kings; while cleaning creek behind home, subject found cash register till box and cash box, items extremely old, had been in elements long time, disposed of, nothing further.
7:57 a.m., motorist assist, N Pacific; pickup broken down in lane of traffic, unable to locate.
11:53 a.m., assist other agency, W Broad; subject driving U-Haul, involved in disturbance, unable to locate.
1:59 p.m., information, NE Loop 564; minor accident in parking lot, not sure owner wants to file hit and run, will contact police department after school if charges will be pursued, nothing further.
4:04 p.m., disturbance, N Pacific; two subjects in physical fight, left prior to officers’ arrival, unable to locate.
8:20 p.m., disturbance, W Broad; subject said several juveniles fighting, someone pulled gun on son, pointed gun at him, ran across street. Juvenile described, room and other areas searched, no firearm found, video pursued, not working, case report filed.
10:10 p.m., suspicious person, N Johnson; four or five young people across the street with flashlights, now on subject’s property, unable to locate.
Feb. 19
9:22 a.m., disturbance, Stone; verbal fight, subject, son asked unknown parties to leave, were refused, parties left before officers’ arrival, will call if come back, nothing further.
9:53 a.m., reckless driver, NE Loop 564; motorcycle weaving in and out of traffic, pulled into parking lot in private lot, officer would be on lookout for vehicle on roadway.
10:17 a.m., unsecured area, S Pacific; someone living in old concrete houses near railroad tracks, officer spoke with subject, wants person trespassed, direct patrol started, buildings have been padlocked.
12:00 p.m., terroristic threat, N Pacific; ex-employee’s husband called, said employees pigs, told they’re going to die, case report filed.
1:55 p.m., assist other agency, W Patten; EMS needs assistance with patient, went with EMS willingly.
2:47 p.m., assist other agency, S Johnson; assist fire and EMS with snake bite, EMS canceled.
4:06 p.m., sexual assault, W Patten; caller is teacher, said student indicated in writing assignment had been assaulted, incident reported to Mineola High School, police, CPS, follow-up will be completed.
5:59 p.m., suspicious person, N Johnson; subject said believes someone living in alleyway because of blankets, etc., building being renovated, belongings from renovation.
6:08 p.m., motor vehicle accident, N Pacific/E Broad; two-vehicle accident, one in road, injuries reported, EMS, fire contacted, case report filed.
7:51 p.m., information, W Broad; subject said believes she’s being sold by her boyfriend, given courtesy transport to police department, someone from Hawkins picking up.
Feb. 20
12:50 a.m., suspicious vehicle, CR 2724; unoccupied vehicle, preserve locked for the night.
7:55 a.m., reckless driver, E Loop 564/Hwy 80; vehicle crossing over lines, officers unable to catch vehicle prior to leaving city limits, county, dispatch notified.
8:15 a.m., sexual assault, W Patten; subject needed to speak with officer about case, officer got basic information, worked for collaboration paperwork, call related to Feb. 19 4:06 p.m. case.
8:43 a.m., sexual assault, W Patten; subject requested officer for sexual assault, had copy of protective order, didn’t know if case officially closed, officer said subject charged, convicted in Kaufman County for case.
2:05 p.m., welfare concern, Graham; subject requested welfare check on mother, drove into town for visit, said didn’t feel well, subject can’t reach as not home. Mother okay, on back porch, forgot phone, will make contact with son.
2:54 p.m., unknown offense, N Pacific; something in road, cleared.
3:06 p.m., escort, S Pacific/city limit; police escort for officer, all clear.
4:36 p.m., welfare concern, NE Loop 564; subject on phone screaming, caller wants someone to check on her, unable to locate.
5:22 p.m., public assist, Boundry; subject wants to speak about smell at house, no smell observed.
7:54 p.m., reckless driver, N Pacific/city limit; vehicle unable to maintain lane, unable to locate.
10:01 p.m., reckless driver, NE Loop 564; subject accelerated toward caller and son in parking lot, was speeding, caller did not know driver, no offense witnessed.
Officers also made 78 traffic stops, 10 animal control calls, and 7 alarm calls.
