12:19 a.m., suspicious person/vehicle, Second Street; caller reported someone walking behind a house. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the subject, who was believed to have active warrants.
12:40 a.m., reckless driver, NE Loop 564; caller reported a dark Chevrolet pickup driving recklessly. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
12:40 a.m., public assist, 1000 N. Johnson; officers provided a courtesy transport to a residence.
12:14 p.m., animal control, 800 E. McDonald; officers removed a deceased bird from the roadway.
11:42 a.m., motor vehicle accident, W. Broad at Loop 564; two-vehicle accident with no injuries. Case report filed.
11:43 a.m., assault, Brenda; caller reported being assaulted by her son's father. Officers determined the incident was verbal only.
11:56 a.m., motor vehicle accident, NE Loop 564; two-vehicle accident with no injuries. Drivers exchanged information before officers arrived.
12:39 p.m., criminal mischief, Meredith; caller reported damage to a mailbox. Officers determined the mailbox had not been damaged and notified the 
1:48 p.m., found property, Baker; caller turned in a found wallet. Officers contacted the owner to retrieve it.
1:53 p.m., assist other agency, N. Pacific at city limits; officers assisted the Wood County Sheriff's Office after a stolen license plate was detected. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
2:28 p.m., motorist assist, 800 E. Broad; officers assisted with a disabled vehicle, which was restarted.
3:34 p.m., public assist, 300 Greenville; caller requested to borrow a phone to arrange a ride.
3:51 p.m., suspicious person/vehicle, Royal; caller reported her daughters were home alone when a man came to the door selling security cameras. Officers contacted the reporting party.
5 p.m., assist other agency, 1500 Bromberg; officers assisted with a helicopter landing zone for a gunshot victim.
10:45 p.m., suspicious person/vehicle, NE Loop 564; caller reported two juvenile females pushing shopping carts through a drive-thru. Officers contacted the juveniles, who returned the shopping carts.
Aug. 16
1:24 p.m., suicide, N. Newsom; officers and EMS responded after a caller reported a suicidal subject. The patient was transported by EMS to UT Health Quitman. Case report filed.
3:27 p.m., information only, Dogwood Trail; caller reported repeated trespassing problems at a Smith County residence. Officers advised the caller to contact Smith County authorities if the subjects returned.
6:58 p.m., city ordinance violation, N. Johnson; caller reported hearing what sounded like gunshots. Officers determined the noise was fireworks and observed no violations.
7:43 p.m., welfare concern, N. Pacific; caller reported a cashier appeared upset after an interaction with a customer. Officers determined it was a verbal dispute related to marital issues, and the subject left the store.
10:32 p.m., public assist, 2200 N. Pacific; officers assisted a stranded motorist who had run out of gas and needed a ride back to his vehicle.
Aug. 17
2:12 a.m., assist other agency, Debby Lane; officers assisted the Wood County Sheriff's Office in searching for a suspect who reportedly jumped from a window. After searching the area, officers were unable to locate the suspect.
5:30 a.m., information only, N. Newsom; caller requested officers check on an older blue Cadillac left after an EMS transport. Officers located the vehicle, and the owner advised it would be picked up before 10 a.m.
7:55 a.m., disturbance, Peachtree; officers responded to a disturbance involving possible weapons. EMS staged nearby, but the victim declined to pursue charges. Case report filed.
8:29 a.m., suspicious person/vehicle, N. Pacific at E. Loop 564; caller reported an elderly man appeared to be out of place. Officers determined he had crossed the road to a bank and was OK.
8:35 a.m., escort, N. Pacific at E. Loop 564; officers provided a funeral escort from Beaty Funeral Home to Golden.
9:15 a.m., public assist, 1800 S. Pacific; officers removed a roadway obstruction.
11:56 a.m., theft, 700 W. Patten; caller reported a backpack and a set of keys were stolen sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning. Theft report referred to Mineola ISD.
1:42 p.m., suspicious person/vehicle, 1000 S. Pacific; caller reported a man inside a business who appeared suspicious. Officers contacted the store manager and determined it was a misunderstanding. No threat was found.
4:10 p.m., reckless driver, 200 W. Broad; caller reported a green Dodge truck weaving in traffic. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
4:59 p.m., suspicious person/vehicle, N. Pacific at W. Patten; officers checked on a report involving a pink moped. Three warnings were issued.
5:05 p.m., public assist, 300 Greenville; caller requested to speak with an officer about people parking on vacant lots. Directed patrol was requested.
6:21 p.m., assist other agency, 200 E. Broad; officers assisted EMS with a medical call.
7:35 p.m., assist other agency, NE Loop 564; officers assisted EMS with a medical call. The patient was transported to UT Health Quitman.
7:48 p.m., motorist assist, 100 NE Loop 564; officers assisted a disabled vehicle while the driver waited for someone to pick them up.
8:32 p.m., assist other agency, E. Broad; officers assisted EMS with a medical call. The patient was transported to UT Health Quitman.
8:53 p.m., suspicious person/vehicle, S. Johnson; caller reported someone locked inside a restroom. Officers determined the subject was leaving the location.
10:05 p.m., motor vehicle accident, 2200 N. Pacific; automated crash notification received. Officers were unable to locate an accident.
10:34 p.m., suspicious person/vehicle, NE Loop 564; caller reported a red Ford pickup parked behind a shed. Officers determined the driver was dropping off equipment at a nearby residence.
11:18 p.m., motorist assist, 1400 W. Broad; officers assisted a driver with a vehicle experiencing radiator problems.
Aug. 18
7:17 a.m., suspicious person/vehicle, NE Loop 564 at FM 1254; officers checked a vehicle parked on the gravel. The owner was advised the vehicle could not be parked there.
11:55 a.m., assault, Greenville; caller reported being assaulted by a resident while working at a residence on Aug. 10. Officers referred the caller to the appropriate state nursing board.
5:10 p.m., assist other agency, E. Hwy. 80; officers assisted the fire department with a grass fire. All police units cleared after the fire was under control.
6:07 p.m., disturbance, N. Pacific; caller reported two men fighting and that one had a gun. Officers detained the suspect, seized the firearm and filed a case report.
Aug. 19
1:06 a.m., suspicious person/vehicle, Kevin; caller reported someone with a flashlight at a residence where the occupants were moving. Officers checked the property, found it secure and observed no signs of forced entry.
8:33 a.m., motorist assist, N. Pacific at E. Loop 564; officers assisted a disabled vehicle in the intersection. Vehicle moved from the roadway.
11:02 a.m., identity theft, Wren; caller reported receiving medical mail from a doctor in Quitman despite never being treated there. Officers determined no offense had occurred and advised the caller to follow up with the doctor's office.
1:53 p.m., public assist, 300 Greenville; caller requested video related to a previous traffic crash. Officer advised the original crash investigator would follow up.
5:36 p.m., civil matter, 300 Greenville; caller reported the mother of his child would not allow him to see the child and that her boyfriend had made threats. Caller was advised to contact the courts and to call police if the individual came to his residence.
5:53 p.m., public assist, 300 Greenville; caller wanted to report an incident that occurred in Hawkins. Officers referred the caller to the Wood County Sheriff's Office.
7:28 p.m., motor vehicle accident, Broad; two-vehicle accident with no injuries. One vehicle left the scene but later returned after another caller followed it back. Officers determined the driver showed no signs of intoxication and issued a citation. Case report filed.
9:43 p.m., assist other agency, Brenda Lane; officers attempted a warrant service. No contact was made.
Aug. 20
8:59 a.m., disturbance, N. Johnson; caller reported a child did not want to leave with a parent. Officers determined it was a verbal disagreement, and the child remained at the residence.
10:20 a.m., criminal trespass, E. Front; caller requested a heavily intoxicated person be criminally trespassed from the property. Criminal trespass warning issued.
10:28 a.m., reckless driver, 2200 block N. Pacific; caller reported a white BMW speeding and driving erratically. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
11:29 a.m., suspicious person/vehicle, S. Pacific at Belcher; caller reported her husband had been followed the previous day by a dark gray Dodge Charger. Officers advised the caller to contact the Wood County Sheriff's Office because the residence involved was outside the city limits.
2:13 p.m., theft, 1200 block Bromberg; caller reported a roommate and another woman stole several items. Case report filed.
5:25 p.m., motorist assist, N. U.S. Hwy. 69 at NW Loop 564; officers responded to a stalled vehicle. Information relayed to the Wood County Sheriff's Office.
5:40 p.m., fraud, Pamela; caller believed her parents were being targeted by a sweepstakes scam. Officers determined no offense had occurred and advised the family about fraud prevention.
6:28 p.m., welfare concern, 100 block Cherokee; officers checked on a driver reported to be asleep in a vehicle. Officers found no offense, and the driver was out of the roadway resting.
Aug. 21
7:03 a.m., information only, Goodson Circle; caller requested extra patrol during school pickup around 6:45 a.m., reporting vehicles speeding while children waited for the bus. Directed patrol requested.
8:35 a.m., assist other agency, McDaniel; caller reported smoke and popping noises coming from a shed. The fire department investigated.
1 p.m., information only, NE Loop 564; officers responded to a 911 hang-up. Everything was found to be OK.
1:13 p.m., assist other agency, 100 block W. Loop 564; officers responded to assist with a reported vehicle fire. Fire was canceled after DPS arrived on scene.
2:06 p.m., suspicious person/vehicle, 100 block Bluebird; caller reported a vehicle parked with its door open. Officers determined the owner had gone inside a residence briefly.
2:27 p.m., fraud, S. Pacific; caller reported a washed check had been fraudulently cashed. Case report filed.
3:09 p.m., information only, 300 Greenville; caller requested to speak with officers regarding people listed as sex offenders. Officers transported the subject for evaluation. Case report filed.
3:37 p.m., driving while intoxicated, 1800 block N. Pacific; caller reported a pickup blocking the roadway with an intoxicated male and female inside. Driver arrested for DWI and transported to the Wood County Jail.
3:48 p.m., suspicious person/vehicle, Inwood; caller reported a gray pickup parked in the roadway for two days. Officers found the occupants inside the disabled vehicle.
