Sept. 26
12:15 a.m., disturbance, N Newsom; caller reported someone banging on the door and a juvenile hiding near the residence. Officers were unable to locate anyone.
12:50 p.m., welfare concern, NE Loop 564; caller requested officers check on a store clerk after a report of a man yelling. Employees advised everything was OK.
1:11 p.m., criminal mischief, Meadowbrook; caller reported Halloween decorations vandalized. Directed patrol requested.
2:10 p.m., reckless driver, 100 W Broad; caller reported Toyota nearly forced another vehicle off the roadway. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
3:41 p.m., suspicious person/vehicle, Sycamore; caller reported a man and woman carrying items into a vacant residence. Officers determined it was a family matter and no offense occurred.
4:40 p.m., assist other agency, Hwy. 69 N/N Loop 564; Wood County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance after an automated crash notification. Officers were unable to locate an accident.
9:33 p.m., assist other agency, E Broad; caller reported a man in a ditch yelling for help. EMS responded and transported the subject.
Sept. 27
5:39 a.m., motor vehicle accident, 700 Greenville Hwy.; caller struck a deer. Fire department dispatched, then canceled. Vehicle sustained electrical damage. Courtesy transport provided.
11:34 a.m., criminal mischief, Meadowbrook; juveniles vandalized property. Parents met with officers, compensated the victim for the damage and the case was resolved.
1:59 p.m., city ordinance violation, N Newsom; loud music complaint. Officers made contact and the music was turned down.
5:23 p.m., driving while intoxicated, 100 W Buchanan; traffic stop resulted in arrest. Blood draw obtained and subject transported to the Wood County Jail. Case report filed.
5:44 p.m., motor vehicle accident; two-vehicle accident on private property, no injuries. Information exchanged.
Sept. 28
3:17 a.m., assist other agency, S Hwy. 69/city limits; Wood County Sheriff’s Office reported possible animal in roadway. Roadway found clear.
9:36 a.m., harassment, McWhorter; caller reported ongoing harassment. Case report filed.
10:21 a.m., information, N Pacific; caller reported accidentally damaging property. No offense occurred.
12:57 p.m., theft, CR 2724; caller reported vehicle dumping trash in dumpster. Officers unable to locate the vehicle.
1:34 p.m., information, 1000 S Pacific; abandoned vehicle towed.
1:46 p.m., reckless driver, E Broad/E Loop 564; caller reported 18-wheeler unable to maintain a single lane. Officer observed no violations.
2:12 p.m., information, Graham; caller requested code enforcement regarding possible odor complaint. Officers found no violation.
4:03 p.m., civil matter, Turman; caller reported residence listed for rent without permission. Civil issue.
4:32 p.m., public assist, 1100 W Broad; roadway debris removed.
7:22 p.m., assist other agency, 700 N Johnson; officers assisted EMS.
7:50 p.m., suspicious person/vehicle, N Newsom; subject dropping off a donation, no offense.
8:08 p.m., suspicious person/vehicle, Autumn Wind; caller reported unknown person knocking on front and back doors. Officers unable to locate anyone.
8:18 p.m., city ordinance violation, N Newsom; loud music complaint. Subjects turned the music down.
10:44 p.m., suspicious person/vehicle, 1000 NW Loop 564; suspicious vehicle checked. Vehicle found unoccupied.
Sept. 29
11:21 a.m., fraud, S Pacific; caller reported possible fraud. Case report filed.
4:19 p.m., suspicious person/vehicle, W Blair; caller reported cousin on drugs was coming to grandmother’s residence and making threats. Directed patrol requested. Officers were unable to locate the subject.
6:27 p.m., driving while intoxicated, 1000 S Pacific; caller reported red Ford F-250 swerving and nearly causing a collision. Driver arrested for driving while intoxicated. Blood draw obtained and case report filed.
7:37 p.m., information, N Newsom; caller reported scam involving someone claiming her brother was in jail and requesting money. Caller did not send money. No offense occurred.
8:04 p.m., welfare concern, NE Loop 564; caller reported juveniles hanging out of a moving vehicle and pulling shopping carts. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
Sept. 30
2:59 a.m., driving while intoxicated, Landers; caller reported single-vehicle accident. Officers determined there had been no crash, but the driver was highly intoxicated. Subject transported by EMS. Case report filed.
8:56 a.m., information, Wigley; caller questioned legality of neighbor’s security camera. Advised camera placement was legal and no offense had occurred.
9:39 a.m., harassment, Wigley; caller reported ongoing dispute involving neighbor’s security camera. Advised matter was civil.
10:58 a.m., assist other agency, N Pacific; officers assisted fire department with disabled vehicle.
11:32 a.m., welfare concern, E Broad/N Pacific; caller reported man in roadway. Officers located subject, who was not in the roadway.
3:56 p.m., reckless driver, N Hwy. 69/W Loop 564; white SUV reported unable to maintain a single lane, unable to locate.
3:59 p.m., motorist assist, N Hwy. 69/W Loop 564; flat tire changed.
4:06 p.m., reckless driver, N Hwy. 69/W Loop 564; red Ford reported unable to maintain a single lane, unable to locate.
4:08 p.m., motorist assist, 1300 N Pacific; vehicle out of gas. Officer provided fuel.
7:41 p.m., reckless driver, N Pacific/city limits; horse trailer traveling without lights, unable to locate.
11:51 p.m., unsecured area, E Broad; open door found, officers secured the building.
Oct. 1
3:06 a.m., assist other agency, E Hwy. 80; officers assisted the Wood County Sheriff’s Office with a subject found sitting in a ditch. Subject transported by EMS.
9:25 p.m., public assist, 500 block N Pacific; log removed from the roadway.
10:50 p.m., unsecured area, W Kilpatrick; officer checked a business after report of an unsecured area. Building found secure.
Oct. 2
7:30 a.m., welfare concern, Hogg; caller reported concerns about a family member’s mental state. Officers spoke with the mother, who said she was not in fear and would contact police if needed.
7:48 a.m., terroristic threat, NE Loop 564; caller reported man threatened to run him over after an argument. Officers determined no offense had occurred.
Excluded calls: 5 vehicle stops that did not result in an arrest; 3 animal control calls; 1 alarm call.
Oct. 2
5:05 a.m., unsecured area, W Kilpatrick; officer checked a business after finding an unsecured area. Building found secure.
7:30 a.m., welfare concern, Hogg; caller reported hearing voices and seeing someone outside the residence. Officers found no one in the area.
7:46 a.m., terroristic threat, NE Loop 564; caller reported man making threats and yelling at employees. Officers determined no offense had occurred.
10:35 a.m., suicide concern, N Pacific; caller reported hearing voices and seeing things. Subject transported for evaluation.
11:56 a.m., assist other agency, S Pacific/Loop 564; officers assisted the Wood County Sheriff’s Office with a report of a smoking vehicle. Vehicle was disabled but not on fire.
1:34 p.m., theft, NE Loop 564; suspect walked out of a store with merchandise. Arrest made and Class B theft case filed.
5:19 p.m., motorist assist, 1000 block S Pacific; caller reported a tire in the roadway. Officers were unable to locate it.
5:21 p.m., suspicious person/vehicle, NE Loop 564; caller reported juvenile attempting to enter vehicles in a parking lot. Officers were unable to locate anyone.
6:49 p.m., disturbance, W McDonald; caller requested a criminal trespass warning after a disturbance involving a resident. Warning issued.
8:31 p.m., welfare concern, W Blair; caller requested welfare check on a patient believed to have left the emergency room.
10:26 p.m., assist other agency, W Kilpatrick/N Line; officers assisted EMS with an unconscious subject, who was transported by EMS.
