Southside Church of Christ to host annual free health fair June 27

Mineola — Southside Church of Christ will host its annual free Health Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 27 at 527 Read St. in Mineola, offering health screenings, community resources and family-friendly activities.
The event will provide free screenings, including blood pressure checks, glucose testing, cholesterol screening and other basic health evaluations. Information will also be available on local health resources and wellness services designed to help attendees build healthier lifestyles.
In addition to health services, the fair will feature games, prizes and activities for children and families. Food will be served, and organizers encourage community members of all ages to attend and bring their children.
The event will also include bilingual health information and access to local community resources aimed at connecting residents with support services in the area.
Organizers said the goal of the annual event is to promote wellness while providing a welcoming space for the community to gather and learn.
The Health Fair is free and open to the public.
