Motorcyclist dies in crash with deer
A Big Sandy man was killed in a motorcycle collision with a deer in Wood County on Tuesday, Nov. 7.
According to the Texas Highway Patrol preliminary report, Jeffrey P. Walls Jr., 50, was westbound on FM 515 less than a mile east of County Road 1973 at 6:18 p.m.
His 2007 Harley Davidson collided with a deer in the roadway and Walls died at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet. Justice of the Peace Tony Giilbreath ruled on the death.
The road was dry and conditions clear, about 42 minutes after sunset.
