Mullikin competes in senior pageant
Kim Mullikin, at right, front receptionist and legal assistant at Wilson Law Office in Quitman, placed 3rd runner up of 18 beautiful women over the age of 60 in the Miss Texas Senior America Pageant in Richardson Nov. 1. She also tied for Best in Talent with her clogging routine to “Sold - (The Grundy County Auction Incident)” by John Michael Montgomery. The reining Miss Texas Senior America, DeeAnne Meece, was recently crowned Ms. Senior America 2025-2026. She helped Kim with her makeup.
Kim served as owner, director and instructor for 18 years, touching the lives of countless children through her love of dance at “Steppin’ Out and Turning Pointe” in Flint, which opened in 1996. In 2014, Kim retired, passing the baton to her long-time assistant, Rachael Cheatham.
