Parker announces plans to seek fourth term in Prec. 3
Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace Jerry E. Parker announced his candidacy for the upcoming Republican primary election on March 6, 2026.
“I have been blessed to serve the citizens of Precinct 3 and Wood County,” he said. “One of the main achievements, in the almost 12 years I have served, is the fact that this court is consistent with the statutory time frames and mandates that the Texas Legislature passes each session. Being aware of the changes these mandates (new laws) that are passed down to all justices of the peace is an ongoing responsibility. Thank you for your support, and I ask for your continued support in the upcoming primary. I will not solicit campaign contributions, nor will I accept.”
