Who has the cutest pet? The Pilot Club of Mineola wants to know.

The club’s third annual Cutest Pet Contest will be held Saturday, Sept. 19, during the Mineola Iron Horse Festival.

Registration will take place from noon to 2 p.m. at the Pilot Club’s booth near the gazebo. The registration fee is $20. Awards will be presented for the Cutest Pet and Best Patriotic-Dressed Pet.

Pilot International focuses on supporting people with brain-related disabilities, caregivers and youth. Locally, the Pilot Club of Mineola presents its BrainMinders puppet program at Mineola Primary School, hosts bingo at Mineola Gardens Healthcare, and partners with the Wood County Sheriff’s Department and Pilot Clubs in Quitman and Winnsboro to support Project Lifesaver.

The Pilot Club of Mineola meets at 6 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at the Mineola Civic Center.
