Quitman ISD School Board approves copiers, hears new shop building nearing completion
Quitman ISD school board members quickly disposed of their agenda Monday night.
The board approved Xerox for district-wide copiers for the upcoming year and approved revisions to the Employee Standards of Conduct.
Also approved was the Region 7 service purchasing cooperative inter-local agreement and resolution.
Wood County Tax Assessor-Collector Carol Taylor and her assistant Angela Luman were approved to calculate the no-new revenue tax rate and the voter approval tax rate in accordance with the Texas Tax Code.
Superintendent Chris Mason reported the new shop being built in the former location of the bus and maintenance barn is nearing completion and will be ready for the start of school in August.
