Quitman park hosts county health fair

Health Fair in the Park returns to Quitman on Saturday, Sept. 21 from 9 a.m. to noon at Jim Hogg City Park and the Carroll Green Civic Center.

The event will include healthy and delicious food and beverage vendors, live music, health screenings and information to include blood pressure checks, glucose/cholesterol screenings and information on stroke prevention, lifestyle change programs and more, the Carter BloodCare Mobile Unit, activities for the young and the young-at-heart, free prizes awarded throughout the day and a cooking demonstration.
