January 4
Chief John Farmer was dispatched to an inquest in the 900 block of Zola St. where a female passed away from mayocardial infarction.
Officer Joseph Gatewood initiated a traffic stop in the 200 block of E. Goode St. Wayne Dodd Jr. was arrested for possession of controlled substance PG 1 less than one gram.
January 11
School Resource Officer Victor Taylor took a white female juvenile into custody at Quitman High School for possession of a controlled substance PG 2 under 1 gram in a drug free zone.
