Raymond Lee Alaniz 1962-2023

Raymond Lee Alaniz, 60, of Mineola passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023.

Alaniz was born on Oct. 22, 1962 in Dallas to Everardo and Patsy Woodall Alaniz. He grew up and graduated from high school in Quitman. He was a kind and loving man.

He was preceded in death by his father, Everardo Alaniz.

He is survived by his mother, Patsy Alaniz; daughter, Tessa Alaniz of Gilmer; sisters, Brenda Worley and husband Ryan of Mineola and Nancy Workman and husband Greg of Garland; brother, Eddie Alaniz and wife Shelia of Fate; and numerous other family members and friends.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
