RC&D hosts free event for East Texas landowners
Sabine Neches RC&D Council has received grant funding from the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service to conduct a free workshop for landowners throughout East Texas.
The workshop will provide information focused on financial assistance programs available from USDA agencies together with topics related to land ownership from Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, Texas Soil and Water Conservation and Natural Resources Conservation Services Resources.
A question-and-answer session will be provided by each presenter with the ability to discuss further questions during lunch.

The Sabine-Neches RC&D Council is a voluntary, local, membership-based, nonprofit entity representing eight Texas counties: Smith, Gregg, Harrison, Henderson, Panola, Upshur, Wood, and Van Zandt. The purpose of the council is to advise, plan, implement and develop programs to ensure wise use of funds intended to protect the environment, improve community infrastructure and enhance rural economies while improving county communities.
