Services for Ricky Dewayne Harvey, Sr., 72, of Terrell were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 12, 2024 at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba, with Bro. Byron George officiating.

Interment followed in Salem Cemetery, Alba.

Mr. Harvey passed away Feb. 6, 2024 at his home in Terrell. He was born Aug. 3, 1951 in Grand Saline, to O.L. and Lillie May Joshlin Harvey, Jr. Rick lived most of his life in Kaufman County. Rick was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 40 years, Rhonda Gail Harvey; and brother, Fearl Dean Harvey.

Survivors include his son, Ricky Dewayne Harvey, Jr. of Terrell; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one more baby girl on the way; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family received friends from 4-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert
